Seed Protect Privacy Policy

About this policy
This policy explains how the Seed Protect Android app (package com.ssamiyal.seedprotect), published by SAMIYAL Technologies ("SAMIYAL", "we", "us"), handles information.
In short: your habits, progress and reflections stay on your device, and we don't run any servers that receive your data. Seed Protect has no ads and no analytics.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the following only on your device:
- Habits you create, the days you complete them, your goals and commitment dates
- Milestones you earn
- Reflections you choose to write, encrypted with a key held in Android's secure key store
- Your settings, including the websites you add to your own blocked or allowed lists
We cannot see or access any of this. App backups are turned off, so it is not copied to cloud backups.
Website protection (optional)
If you turn on website protection, the app uses Android's VpnService to create a local VPN on your device. Only website name lookups (DNS queries, such as "example.com") pass through it. Your other internet traffic does not, and the app never opens, decrypts or reads web pages.
To answer each lookup and block adult and malware websites, the app sends the website name to Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 for Families DNS service, normally over an encrypted connection (DNS-over-HTTPS). If that encrypted connection can't be reached, the app may use Cloudflare's standard family DNS address instead. Lookups are handled in memory on your device and immediately discarded; the app does not store, log or share them. Cloudflare handles these lookups under its resolver privacy policy.
You can turn protection off at any time in the Protect tab.
Purchases (Google Play)
Seed Protect offers Seed Protect Premium, an optional one-time purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card or payment details. Google Play tells the app which items your Google account owns, along with an order reference, so the app can unlock them and restore them after a reinstall. Google handles payment information under Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily check-in or receive a "protection is off" alert, the notification text is neutral and never names a habit, goal or website.
What we don't collect
- No account, name, email address or phone number
- No browsing or search history: the app never records websites you visit or that were blocked
- No advertising identifiers, analytics or crash-reporting tools
- No location, contacts, photos or files
Children's privacy
Seed Protect offers a younger-user experience with simpler wording. It is a self-help tool, not a parental-control service, and it collects no personal information from users of any age.
Deleting your data
Settings → Export my data saves a readable copy to a location you choose (reflections in the export are not encrypted). Settings → Delete all data turns off protection, permanently erases everything listed above, deletes the reflection encryption key and cancels reminders. Uninstalling the app also removes all of it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you have questions about privacy in Seed Protect, email ssamiyaltechnologies@gmail.com.
