RIDGEBOUND Privacy Policy

About this policy

This policy explains how the RIDGEBOUND: Wild Run Android game (package com.ssamiyal.ridgebound), published by SAMIYAL Technologies ("SAMIYAL", "we", "us"), handles information. RIDGEBOUND is a physics driving game with endless mountain stages, vehicles to unlock and upgrade, and stunts to chain together.

In short: RIDGEBOUND has no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress stays on your device. We do not run servers that collect your data. The game shows ads through Google AdMob and sells optional in-game items through Google Play, and those Google services collect some information as described below.

Information stored on your device

To keep your progress, RIDGEBOUND stores the following only on your device. It is never sent to us:

• Game progress: unlocked stages and stars, best distances and scores, coin and diamond balances, vehicles owned and their upgrades, looks, achievements, missions, daily reward status and lifetime totals
• A short history of your recent runs, and ghost replays of your best run on each stage
• Your settings, such as language, graphics quality, music and effects volume, vibration, screen shake and control layout
• Whether you own the Starter Bundle, so ads stay off even when you are offline

You can delete this information at any time by clearing the game's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the game. If you have turned on Android's backup to your Google account, Android may include this data in your device backup; that backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings, and we cannot see or access it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

RIDGEBOUND is free to play and supported by ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner on some menu screens, an occasional full-screen ad between runs, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch (for example to double your coins or refill your gas). To show and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalise ads, Google may collect and process information such as:

• Your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers
• Your IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Device and app information (for example, device model, operating system version, app version)
• Information about ads shown and your interactions with them

This information is collected by Google, not by us, and is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your choices: where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area and the UK), RIDGEBOUND asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are personalised. You can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings → Ad privacy settings when it is available in your region. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android device settings. Buying the Starter Bundle removes banner and full-screen ads, and rewards that normally need an ad are given without one.

In-game purchases (Google Play)

RIDGEBOUND offers optional purchases: the Starter Bundle (coins, diamonds and no ads) and diamond packs. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card or payment details. Google Play tells the game which items you bought, along with an order reference, so the game can deliver them and restore the Starter Bundle when you tap Restore purchases or reinstall. Google handles your payment information under Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service. Purchases are optional: everything in the game can also be earned by playing.

Sharing

When you tap Share on a run, the game makes a picture of your result on your device and sends it only to the app you choose (for example, a messaging app), under that app's own privacy policy.

What we don't do

• We don't require an account or collect your name, email or phone number in the game
• We don't sell your personal information
• We don't use analytics or crash-reporting services in RIDGEBOUND
• We don't access your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or location

RIDGEBOUND requests the Internet and network state permissions for ads, the Billing permission for Google Play purchases, and the advertising ID permission used by Google AdMob. The game itself plays fully offline; without a connection, ads simply don't load.

Children's privacy

RIDGEBOUND is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help.

Security and retention

Information stored by RIDGEBOUND stays on your device until you delete it, clear the game's storage or uninstall the game. Information collected by Google for advertising and purchases is retained under Google's policies. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep the game's data handling to the minimum needed for it to work.

Deleting your data

Because RIDGEBOUND has no accounts and we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To remove everything the game has stored, clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps → RIDGEBOUND → Storage, or uninstall it. Your Google Play purchase history stays with your Google account.

Changes and contact
