Resume Maker Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
About this policy
This policy explains how the Resume Maker Android app (package com.ssamiyal.resumemaker), published by SAMIYAL Technologies ("SAMIYAL", "we", "us"), handles information.
In short: Resume Maker has no accounts. The resumes you write stay on your device, and we do not run servers that receive them. The app shows banner ads through Google AdMob and sells optional templates through Google Play, and those Google services collect some information as described below.
Your resumes
The details you enter in a resume (such as your name, contact details, work history, education and skills) are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. A resume leaves your device only when you choose to export or share it as a PDF, and then only to the app or location you pick.
You can delete this information at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app. If you have turned on Android's backup to your Google account, Android may include this data in your device backup; that backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings, and we cannot see or access it. The record of your purchases is excluded from backups and is always re-read from Google Play.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Resume Maker is supported by ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner on the home screen and the template gallery only; there are no ads in the editor, the preview or while exporting, and no full-screen ads. To show and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalise ads, Google may collect and process information such as:
- Your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers
- Your IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device and app information (for example, device model, operating system version, app version)
- Information about ads shown and your interactions with them
This information is collected by Google, not by us, and is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Your choices: where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area and the UK), Resume Maker asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are personalised. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy settings when it is available in your region. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android device settings.
Purchases (Google Play)
Resume Maker offers optional purchases: individual premium templates, and All-Access, which unlocks every premium template and removes ads. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card or payment details. Google Play tells the app which items your Google account owns, along with an order reference, so the app can unlock them and restore them after a reinstall. Google handles payment information under Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
What we don't do
- We don't require an account
- We don't upload or read your resumes
- We don't sell your personal information
- We don't use analytics or crash-reporting services
- We don't access your contacts, camera, microphone or location
Children's privacy
Resume Maker is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help.
Deleting your data
Use Settings → Delete all resumes to erase every resume on this device, or clear the app's storage or uninstall it. PDFs you exported stay where you saved or sent them.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you have questions about privacy in Resume Maker, email ssamiyaltechnologies@gmail.com.
